Requests And Proposals eXchange. A web based application that assists service providers to support their customers. Built on the ASP (Application Service Provider) model. Integrates news, requests for service, and service proposals through web and e-mail mediums providing an inter-organisational workflow framework to enhance service efficiencies and customer satisfaction perceptions.
Proposals allow service providers to distribute RFCs, gauge demand, and then manage commitments to finalised offerings.
Customisable email notifications pull interested parties directly to the relevant information, whilst post-by-email functionality allows Requests (For Service) to be emailed directly into the database

Research and distribution platform providing news, data and analysis for the global securities industry. Features fine grained permissions structures across 104 markets and 140 Central Securities Depositories and multiple information products. Data is updated, validated and audited online. Co-branding supports joint data ownership between the hosting company and the information providers (agent banks). Email functionality allows subscribers to specify precisely what emails they wish to receive, cut by market, product, priority and market (e.g. "I want a weekly summary of critical news impacting Central American Securities Depositories").
Information is distributed through web, web service (XML), fax, and SMS channels. Rich reporting allows any cut of data to be imported into spreadsheet compatible format.
Currently used by banks including Bank of New York, Bank of Bermuda, SE Banken, Bank Julius Baer, and HSBC.

Integrated platform for the drafting, management, distribution, completion and analysis of RFPs - Requests For Proposals. The global custody industry undertakes numerous RFPs for both appointment of custodians (global and agent banks) and for annual due diligence. This application delivers significant efficiencies for all parties involved in this process, and has been audited and subsequently adopted by banks such as Brown Brothers Harriman, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, BNP Paribas, and investors such as Mars Pension Fund, ICI Pension Fund, Corporation of London and Prudential.
Security is strong. All data is 128 bit encrypted in transit. Key data is encrypted in transit. Client PKI certificates are used with SSL authentication, which are mapped against encrypted passwords at logon for 2 tier authentication.
RFPs support richly formatted questions with all form elements. Questions can adapt for the number of markets covered by a particular mandate. Versioning is controlled at the level of individual questions and at questionnaire level.
Full user management is syndicated to the respondent organisations, who can use powerful reporting tools to track user activity.

Laculine has collaborated on the development of a toolset for the rapid development of deep data mining applications. This involves the automation of http form requests to extract, store and categorise data residing in web interfaced database. Currently being used in the property industry to consolidate and analyze data from numerous property sites.

Sergei Eisenstein's Que Viva Mexico is the lost masterpiece of world cinema. Arcadia Films (a London production company) have bought the rights to this film, and have discovered all the previously lost footage. This web site provides supporting information for this project, and provides a good example of Laculine's design work.
Technically of interest was mapping some old film first to video, and then to Apple's Quick Time video format.

Herculeez plc designed and produced the MX1 email server. This featured real time replication of email data with complete fail over redundancy. Laculine worked on recoding the qmail core to support spam filtering, and on building a PHP web mail interface including writing C PHP extensions to the Zend Engine.
